Trying to find information on the internet and in the community can be a daunting task. Where to start? How to find what you are looking for? Is the site reputable? Accurate? I have compiled a list of sites related to various aspects of health, wellness and some specific common diseases. I have found these sites helpful to me. It is important to realize that information is only as good as where it comes from. Ideally facts should be verified by several sources and founded on reliable studies. These sites are only resources and I do not verify their accuracy. It is a place to start. Most of these sites are run by very reputable institutions who are very careful about the information they put on them.
Feel free to let me know your opinion of these web sites and share any additional sites that you have found helpful.
Based on feedback sites may be added or deleted.
Some of these sites are focused on parents, health professionals and/or teens. If your child is planning to browse, you may want to check the sites first to decide if they are appropriate for your individual child.

The Bret Harte Union High School District shall ensure equal opportunities for all students in admission and access to the educational program, guidance and counseling programs, athletic programs, testing procedures, and other activities.
